Few hotels in the West of Scotland have such a long and distinguished history as The Argyll Hotel.

Designed in 1750 by the famous Scottish builder John Adam, The Argyll was the one the first buildings completed during the total redesign and building of Inveraray, commissioned by the 3rd Duke of Argyll.

The Argyll was originally built as a coaching inn, to accommodate guests to court. The interior of The Argyll reflects upon this impressive history, and the elegant style of its renowned creator.

The Argyll offers standards of hospitality and service which more than live up to its illustrious past. Completely modernised and refurbished, The Argyll is now one of the premier hotels on the West Coast of Scotland.
